The Clean Regattas program is the world’s leading sustainability certification for all on-the-water events. Since the program’s inception in 2006, over 2,600 events have shown their commitments to sustainability by becoming Clean Regattas. This program has reached over 715,000 sailors and attendees in over 40 countries.

For 2021, Lakewood Yacht Club achieved Silver Certification! Here is how you helped us:

• Provided reusable water bottles on your boat and avoided single-use bottles.
• Provided a bulk drinking water source on your boat.
• Avoided plastic straws and utensils.
• Did not dump garbage until arriving, used Port A trash bins.
• Did not discharge holding tank within 3 nmi of coast.
