Harboring Great Company
Anchored at the top of Clear Lake, Lakewood Yacht Club rests amid 38 acres of coastal beauty just minutes from Houston.
You don’t need a yacht to belong here — only a deep love for the water and the ways it connects us through boundless friendship, constant adventure, and the endless horizon that lies just beyond the bay.

A Shoreline Sanctuary
Lakewood Yacht Club is a gateway to something deeper inside us all: the pull of the tides, the call of the open water, and the connection to the exceptional company that comes with it.
More than 450 slips welcome vessels of every kind, offering a calm refuge on the lake and the promise of the open water beyond. It’s a rare, protected harbor where journeys begin, friendships deepen, and the call of adventure is readily answered.

One Club.
Many Journeys.
A shared love of the water connects everyone. Sailors chasing the wind, power boaters pursuing the horizon, anglers in pursuit of the perfect catch, and kayakers following wherever the current takes them — all find a place here.
Even if you don’t own a boat, you’ll have friends who do. And with the nation’s first club-owned fleet of RS21 keelboats, members can enjoy a year-round calendar of regattas, championships, and other adventures.

Youth Sailing Programs
Fun at Lakewood starts young and never has to end. Our Youth Sailing Program is recognized as one of the top programs in the country, renowned for nurturing not just champions, but grit, independence, and a lifetime of sailing skills.
Junior sailors build friendships while developing confidence and racing skills through structured coaching and time on the water. Families new to sailing can begin with our Learn to Sail classes and Opti Camp programs to join the community.

Your Crew On and Off The Water
Whether you’re sharing a drink or a laugh, there’s every reason to linger longer onshore at the Club. Weekend brunches fuel all-day activities, holiday dinners turn into dance parties, and wine, whisky, and cigars set the stage for stories worth sharing. Game nights, book clubs, and Bunco bring friends together.
On the water and off, the best part of the Club is spending time with your crew.
