This past weekend we had 15 sailors competing across four different classes in Dallas. Racing was only conducted on Sunday due to storms rolling through the DFW area on Saturday. A total of 6 races were conducted on the laser line while 5 on both the Opti RWB and Opti Green fleet lines.

Haru Masumoto had am impressive regatta taking first place in the Laser 4.7 class with two bullets throughout the day. In the Radial fleet, Jacob Brown and Ethan Polsen battled it out until the final race with Ethan inching ahead to take 3rd place and Jacob finishing in 4th.

Korbin and Kale Bendele, our two newest green fleeters, sailed their first regatta! Korbin finished in third place, with an impressive first place finish in the first race of the day! Kale was not far behind, finishing in 6th with a couple races finishing in the top three. Congrats to the two brothers and looking forward to their next regattas!

On the RWB line we had an impressive 10 sailors competing. Winning 3 of the 5 races on the day, Ewan Dossin won his first regatta! Not far behind was Ava Anderson (2nd). Taking 3rd in the blue fleet and 4th overall was Cole Gourley. Following closely behind them were our twin girls Casey (6th) and Sydney (7th) Small, with Dylan Tomko (8th) hot on their heels. Hiraku Masumoto (11th) had a hard time while the winds were down, but sailed very well when we had consistent wind. Rounding up our fleet was Jessie Gaines (16th), Christian Gerdes (17th) and Dax Marsden (18th) all sailing in their first RWB regatta.
