Lakewood Yacht Club Marina
Lakewood Yacht Club is located south of Houston on Clear Lake with quick access to Galveston Bay, the Gulf of Mexico and beyond. The Clear Lake area is home to the nation's third-largest number of pleasure boats. LYC recently was awarded Texas Marina of the Year by the Marina Association of Texas.
Dining
The cuisine served at the Club has been compared to 5-star restaurants and with good reason. Our Executive Chef and our talented staff prepare imaginative menus that change every season.
Free Wi-Fi
Internet is available throughout most of the club property, including your boat slip.
Ballrooms & Meeting Rooms
For private parties, company meetings, weddings or receptions, the Club has a grand ballroom as well as three water-view meeting rooms that will accommodate 20-40 people;
The Galley
The Club's brand new Galley is open Saturdays and Sundays from 12 to 7 p.m. Located outside on the Clubhouse veranda, the Galley is conveniently located next to Lakewood’s serene pool. Take a break from sunning and splashing in the pool, lounge under the poolside umbrellas, and enjoy a refreshing beverage or tasty treat. The menu offers a variety of ice cream treats, charcuterie offerings, made-to-order frozen beverages and more!
Reciprocity
Lakewood Yacht Club members also enjoy reciprocity with three clubs in downtown Houston as well as with most other yacht clubs.
Swimming Pool
LYC has a beautiful pool open year-round, with lifeguards on duty during the summer.
Tennis & Pickleball Courts
LYC has three tennis courts and two pickleball courts on the property with tournament quality lighting. Lakewood has a certified pro tennis player and pickleball instructor as well as a robust program that caters to all ages and fitness levels.
