Cruising

Many of the LYC members participate in the Cruising Committee, which organizes and promotes cruises to various destinations throughout the year. 

Cruise Committee members are responsible for planning and executing the cruise program, and often coordinate with the Entertainment Committee. A typical annual schedule might include five or six weekend cruises and a week-long summer cruise to a more distant port. A skipper’s meeting is often conducted before each scheduled cruise.

All members, even non-boaters, are welcome to get involved with this popular and active committee.
